About Raising Arrows Ministries
Serving boys ages 9–14, Raising Arrows Ministries is a Christ-centered boarding school and children’s home for boys experiencing behavioral challenges, Reactive Attachment Disorder (RAD), attachment difficulties, and struggles at home or school. Their small program serves up to 15 boys at a time, creating a family-style setting centered on structure, accountability, and connection. Boys typically stay for 12–18 months while attending on-campus academics and following consistent daily routines designed to prepare them to return home and reconnect with their families.
Build Trust Through Structure and Faith
Raising Arrows Ministries takes a Biblical approach to helping boys build healthier relationships and behaviors. Their approach centers on personal mentoring, Biblical teaching, clear expectations, natural consequences, and consistent routines. Days can include morning devotionals and prayer, academics, chores, physical activity, recreation, family-style meals, and group activities. When additional support is needed, Raising Arrows can coordinate with outside licensed counselors while continuing to provide guidance and accountability within the home.
Learn, Explore, and Grow Together
Located approximately 100 miles north of Kalispell, Montana, Raising Arrows Ministries combines residential living with academics, faith, recreation, and practical responsibilities in a countryside setting. Boys can participate in hiking, camping, swimming, fishing, Bible camp, choir, community service, church activities, and other outdoor experiences. They also complete chores and learn to take responsibility for their belongings and shared spaces. These everyday experiences give boys opportunities to practice responsibility, build positive relationships, and take part in life together as a community.
