About PSI Womens Residential
Psychotherapeutic Services Women's Residential provides a 10-bed program for adult women over 18 with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. In a supportive, home-like environment, residents receive comprehensive care including nutritional meals, assessments, and individualized treatment plans. The program emphasizes substance abuse treatment based on the stages of change model and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), alongside medication management and various therapies.
Build Sober Future, Reintegrate Community
The center’s approach prioritizes relapse prevention and successful community re-integration. Patients gain vital skills through individual and group sessions, family therapy, and medication management. They connect individuals to 12-step programs, outpatient referrals, and community resources for sobriety post-discharge. The SUD program also assists with educational opportunities, job placement, family issues, and housing location.
Supporting Women Across Counties
The SUD program serves residents from Kent, Sussex, and New Castle Counties, with admission based on factors like intoxication potential and recovery environment. They accept Medicaid, private insurance, and a sliding scale fee.
