The Providence Crisis Recovery Center in Anchorage offers 24/7 support for individuals experiencing mental health challenges. With expertise gained from assisting approximately 100 patients annually, their program focuses on improving coping mechanisms for stressful life events and reducing anxiety and depression. Patients typically stay for 3-7 days, depending on their individualized treatment goals established with a therapist.
Family-Focused Care for Adolescents
The center includes counseling for teens ages 12-18, providing personalized care for up to eight patients at a time. Their co-ed program helps about 100 adolescents each year, with a focus on family involvement and developing healthy coping skills through a structured schedule of therapy and activities.
