About Phoenix House - Venice Beach
Located on Ocean Front Walk, this Venice Beach facility serves adult men facing substance use and co-occurring mental health challenges in a safe, supportive environment. It provides both residential detox and treatment, as well as outpatient care, allowing clients to begin recovery in a structured setting or continue healing while living at home. For youth, school-based programs focus on building coping skills, strengthening family relationships, and supporting success in school.
Strengthen Mental Health Through Support
Treatment focuses on more than just stopping substance use—it helps clients understand the root causes of addiction and learn tools for lasting recovery. With guidance from licensed therapists, clients strengthen emotional resilience, rebuild trust in relationships, and begin to heal from trauma. The program also supports life after treatment by helping clients find stable housing and meaningful employment.
Participate in a Steady, Healing Environment
Each day in the program follows a steady rhythm designed to promote recovery. Clients take part in therapy, peer support groups, and wellness activities that reinforce structure and self-care. In this community-driven setting, they practice new habits, regain confidence, and build a foundation for a healthier, more independent life.
Center Overview

Supportive Medication for Recovery
Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) is an evidence-based approach that pairs FDA-approved medications with counseling to treat addiction. The medications are used to reduce cravings, ease withdrawal symptoms, or block the effects of substances. More about MAT
Methadone
Naltrexone
Buprenorphine
Note: Treatment centers offer different forms of MAT—such as oral tablets, dissolvable films, or monthly injections—and their policies can vary based on state regulations, provider preferences, and insurance coverage. Because of these differences, it's best to contact the center directly to learn what options are available and what might be right for your situation.
