It began in the summer of 1976 when a group of Filipinos and Pacific Islanders faced growing substance issues in their communities and saw the need for a culturally aware program that reflected their languages and values.

Men engage in psychoeducation and receive both individual and group counseling, helping them understand their behaviors and strengthen emotional awareness while developing habits that support long-term recovery.
