About Community Concepts Rumford
Community Concepts’s office in Rumford (previously called Oxford County Mental Health Services) began in 1991 to help families and individuals with mental health and addiction needs. The center works with people of all ages, including children. Services include residential care at their Andy’s Place residence, in-person or virtual outpatient therapy, crisis help anytime, and full support from a team that focuses on recovery and wellness.
Therapies and Support
Community Concepts offers dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), outpatient counseling, group therapy, and support for recovery from substance use. Care teams include case managers, nurses, and peer support. These teams work with each person to set goals, build coping skills, and improve overall wellness. Each service helps people stay safe and supported on their journey to recovery.
Housing and Peer Centers
The center also supports people with case management, peer support services, and support with housing and daily living needs. These programs help individuals build life skills, regain independence, and take steps toward stable living. Trained staff and peers guide participants in finding housing, jobs, medical care, and other important resources in the community.
