About Ohio MBTC
Adults seeking a faith-based residential program for substance use disorders (SUD), alcohol use, and emotional concerns can enter an 8 to 10 month program that combines Christian discipleship with a structured daily routine. Ohio Mission Bible Training Center serves men and women as a division of Mission Teens, Inc., a non-denominational ministry that provides its residential program without charge.
Faith-Based Discipleship Program
As part of Mission Teens, they follow a 4-phase discipleship program that increases responsibilities and privileges as residents progress. The program combines Bible study, Christian instruction, and household responsibilities, while senior staff oversee major decisions and guide residents through each phase.
Daily Bible Study and Training
Residents follow a structured daily schedule that typically includes about 5 1/2 hours of Bible study, along with a comprehensive study of the New Testament and a general study of the Old Testament. As they progress through the program, they complete household responsibilities. During the final phase, they counsel 1 resident each day and submit a report to senior staff.
