About New Roads Behavioral Health Pathways Program
Men with addiction and mental health needs receive full-time care at a residential program located in a quiet neighborhood in southwest Provo, Utah, near the intersection of W 1560 S and S 500 W. The home-like setting includes shared living spaces, open outdoor areas, and access to both medical and psychiatric support.
Services and Therapies
Services include social detoxification, residential treatment, and day treatment (PHP) care. Clients take part in individual and group therapy, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), 12-step meetings, mindfulness-based recovery, and medication-assisted treatment (MAT) with options like Suboxone and Vivitrol.
Daily Life and Support
Clients follow a structured weekly routine with therapy, life skills training, and recreation such as hiking, basketball, and creative activities. Staff are available 24/7 and assist with prescriptions and medication management. The program also offers family therapy – in person, by phone, or online. A transitional program offers semi-independent housing and continued support with jobs, education, and daily responsibilities.
