Building Strength through Service

The residential program follows 4 phases lasting about 2-4 months each: rule-following and spiritual foundation, increased household duties, greater privileges and family contact, and counselor training with peer support. In the final phase, residents support another participant each day, report their work to senior staff, and model responsible behavior. Daily life also includes Bible teaching, spiritual guidance, Christian counseling, and writing assignments.

Strengthening Purpose through Service

Residents live onsite and take on greater responsibility throughout the 8-16 month program. Applicants should resolve serious medical or legal matters before admission, and residents must cover their own medical expenses. The center typically permits only non-addictive, non-narcotic medications. Graduates may be invited to complete an additional 10-12 months of staff training.
