As a nonprofit organization with a mission to help individuals and families improve their health and wellness, Maryville Integrated Care’s Pemberton, New Jersey campus serves adults with alcohol or drug addiction. Located near the Burlington County Highway Department, the center provides medically assisted detox, short-term residential treatment of about 30 days, and long-term residential treatment lasting 60–90 days or longer. Detox for alcohol, opiates, and benzodiazepines includes 24-hour medical supervision.

Working Toward Change

Maryville Integrated Care provides individual therapy, recovery planning, and group therapy using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed methods. The program also includes relapse prevention, coping-skills education, family engagement, wellness activities, and peer support. Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) combines behavioral therapy with buprenorphine or naltrexone for alcohol and opioid use disorders. Maryville also offers suboxone and vivitrol and supports clients taking methadone.

Care Beyond Addiction

Integrated addiction treatment addresses anxiety disorders, depression and mood disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders, ADHD, personality disorders, bipolar disorder, as well as co-occurring gambling disorder. At Maryville Integrated Care, case management coordinates medical and psychiatric services, housing, legal and financial needs, and discharge planning. Eligible clients can receive legal assistance for housing, employment, immigration, and family law through Maryville’s Medical Legal Partnership.
