About Hoving Home - New York
Rebuilding lives with warmth, trust, support, and love, Hoving Home supports women with life-controlling problems such as drug and alcohol addiction, prostitution, and court involvement. The residential discipleship program in Garrison, New York, sits 45 miles north of New York City across the Hudson river from West Point Military Academy. The campus helps women address challenges such as anger, bitterness, and low self-esteem while building a new way to live on a biblical foundation.
Growing Toward a New Life
The 6- or 12-month program combines residential biblical discipleship with career readiness to help women develop a healthy work ethic and prepare for employment. Daily life takes place across a large estate with two dormitories, a chapel, administrative facilities, and open lawns and rolling hills. The Garrison campus also houses a Women and Children program, allowing mothers to participate in residential care while remaining with their children.
