Hope Ranch
About Hope Ranch
Set on 10 acres in Victoria, Texas, the campus brings residential living, a dining hall, and a fitness center together with dedicated spaces for counseling and group sessions. Part of the nonprofit Billy T. Cattan Recovery Outreach, the 52-bed center is the first inpatient detox and residential program in Victoria and its surrounding counties, treating adult men and women for addiction and co-occurring mental health conditions. Their program combines 24-hour care, family involvement, and 12-step recovery.
Move From Detox Into Residential Care
Care begins with a comprehensive clinical assessment, and clients move between detox and residential treatment without a gap in care. Detox uses up to 12 of the center’s 52 beds, supported by an onsite nursing station. In residential care, counselors use cognitive behavioral strategies and trauma-informed care during individual and group sessions and teach relapse prevention. Stays usually last 30 to 45 days and can extend to 90 when clinically appropriate.
Recover on a Purpose-Built Campus
The center provides gender-specific accommodations through separate men’s and women’s residential programs, and an onsite childcare area helps mothers keep young children close during treatment. Chefs prepare meals in a professional kitchen, and clients can use the gym, walk the 12-step path, relax at the pavilion, watch movies, and join organized games. Staff provide case management and recovery planning for aftercare, help verify insurance, and offer financial assistance based on income and family size.
