About First Fruits MBTC
Through an 8 to 10 month residential program, adults seeking faith-based support for substance use and alcohol use disorders follow Christian discipleship through a routine of daily Bible study and responsibilities. First Fruits Mission Bible Training Center (MBTC) operates as a division of Mission Teens, Inc., a non-denominational ministry that offers a residential program without charge to men and women.
Faith-Based Discipleship Program
As part of Mission Teens, they follow a 4-phase discipleship program that increases responsibilities and privileges as residents progress. The program combines Bible study, Christian instruction, and household responsibilities, while senior staff guide residents through each phase and oversee major decisions.
Daily Bible Study and Training
Residents spend each day completing about 5½ hours of Bible study, including a comprehensive study of the New Testament and a general study of the Old Testament, while also carrying out household responsibilities. During the final phase, they counsel one resident each day and submit a report to senior staff.
