About Crossville MBTC
A Christian discipleship program at Crossville Mission Bible Training Center helps adults address alcohol and drug addiction. Operating as a division of Mission Teens, Inc., the center provides a free 8 to 10 month residential program for adults 18 and older, with admission requiring medical, dental, and legal concerns to be resolved beforehand. Residents progress through 4 training stages, earning greater responsibilities and privileges before graduation.
Bible Study Through Each Stage
They schedule 5.5 hours of Bible study each day, including classes, devotionals, worship, and teachings from the Old and New Testaments. Residents also receive counseling while studying Christian principles for everyday living. Several resident directors first completed the Mission Teens residential and staff programs before returning to guide residents through the same discipleship model.
Daily Routine and Responsibilities
Each day begins at 7 a.m. and ends at 10:30 p.m. Residents attend devotions, Bible classes, counseling, and community gatherings while also completing chores, exercising, eating meals, and participating in work projects. Recreation, free time, and special events round out the schedule as residents move through each stage of the program.
