About Brighter Day Detox
A home-like residential setting allows adults to complete medically supervised detox before transitioning into residential treatment. Brighter Day Detox provides medically supervised detox and residential treatment for adults with alcohol, opiate, and benzodiazepine use disorders through a full continuum of care with 24/7 medical and clinical staffing and individualized treatment plans. The clinical team monitors withdrawal around the clock before clients begin structured residential treatment.
How Treatment Comes Together
Brighter Day Detox combines medication-assisted treatment (MAT), individual counseling, group therapy, and case management throughout residential care. Licensed clinicians deliver cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing (MI), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), trauma-informed care, and 12-Step facilitation, while physicians prescribe FDA-approved medications for opioid and alcohol use disorders when clinically appropriate.
Moving Through Treatment
Clients transition into residential treatment, participate in individual and group counseling, and work with case managers who begin discharge planning on the first day of treatment. Case managers provide referrals for outpatient treatment, sober living, ongoing therapy, community resources, and continued medication-assisted treatment (MAT) when appropriate. Brighter Day Detox operates as a DHCS-licensed adult residential detoxification and substance use disorder (SUD) treatment facility.
