About Bernalillo County CARE Campus
CARE Campus, under the Department of Behavioral Health Services of Bernalillo County, is responsible for helping reduce the impact of alcohol dependency, substance use and mental health challenges, ensuring the community is a safe place to live and work through evidence-based interventions. A wide range of programs are available to individuals to support a more stable recovery journey.
Receive Comprehensive Support
Recognizing that proper assessment, intervention, and continuing care is essential to recovery, their programs include observation & assessment unit, detoxification from alcohol and substance use, the residential supportive aftercare program, the addiction treatment program, the Mariposa Residential Program, and the crisis stabilization unit. Services are provided to clients in need of financial assistance and intensive care, regardless of ability to pay.
Enter Trauma-Informed Care
They offer a young adult program offering a comprehensive, trauma-informed environment tailored to help young adults, aged 18 to 25, struggling with behavioral health challenges, including substance use disorders. Clients can access a range of services, including counseling, life skills training, and peer support guiding them through stabilization and recovery. Individuals of all genders are welcome, and the facility can serve up to 16 clients at a time, split evenly between males and females.
