About Banyan Tampa
At Banyan Tampa, healing means more than treatment, it means rediscovering oneself and building the confidence to move forward. The residential facility treats adults with primary mental health conditions, with a telehealth intensive outpatient program (IOP) for continued virtual care. Located in Pinellas County, the facility pairs 24/7 psychiatric support with master's-level therapists to help clients build coping skills and stability, with complimentary transportation available for nearby clients.
Build Skills with a Dedicated Team
Banyan Tampa treats conditions such as anxiety disorders, mood disorders, schizophrenia, and trauma using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), mindfulness therapy, and trauma-informed care. Psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and individual, group, and family therapy give clients daily clinical support to build emotional regulation skills, strengthen coping strategies, and work toward long-term mental wellness and stability. A multidisciplinary team reviews and adjusts each plan as clients make progress.
Focus on Healing in Comfort
Clients live on-site with full-sized beds, a private courtyard surrounded by greenery, and bright, sunlit common areas for catered meals and quiet downtime. Nature-inspired art throughout the facility and a recreation room with arcade games give clients easy ways to unwind between sessions. This calm setting lets clients step back from outside stressors and focus fully on healing and stability.
Continue Progress with a Clear Path
Aftercare planning and alumni support help clients carry the skills they develop in treatment into daily life after discharge. Case management coordinates next steps, including referrals to outpatient care within the Banyan network, so clients can continue building on the progress made during residential treatment. This continuity gives clients a clearer path forward once they leave Banyan Tampa.
