Alta Loma The Chalet
About Alta Loma The Chalet
Created for women who need more time, structure, and support while rebuilding stability in a realistic and sustainable way, Alta Loma The Chalet helps residents connect with everyday life while still receiving mental health support. Instead of separating women from daily responsibilities and routines, the program encourages gradual progress through supportive living, therapy, medication support, recreational activities, and community-based care within a smaller residential setting.
Personalized Support Around Real-Life Challenges
The living environment is designed to feel calm, personal, and grounded so residents can focus on rebuilding the parts of life that are often disrupted during mental health struggles. The Chalet supports women living with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, trauma-related disorders, anxiety, depression, and co-occurring substance use challenges who need longer-term care and accountability. Care staff remain available around the clock, helping residents navigate difficult moments, adjust to everyday responsibilities, and build healthier routines with steady support and guidance. Treatment is approached in a practical and realistic way that helps women feel more prepared to manage daily life with greater confidence over time.
Building Confidence Through Consistency
The 4-bedroom home creates a more personal setting where women spend their days attending therapy, sharing meals, participating in recreational activities, visiting the recreation center, and gradually reconnecting with work and community life throughout Georgetown. The Chalet includes nutritious meals throughout the week, outdoor space, transportation support, and a quieter residential environment that helps women build healthier routines, strengthen independence, and create a steadier and more manageable path forward.
