About Redwood Community Services Tule House
Tucked near the cozy charm of Upper Lake’s historic Main Street and just a short walk from local cafes and the scenic Upper Lake County Park, this residential program supports mothers facing substance use disorders. The peaceful, mountain-like setting offers a nurturing space for treatment with onsite living, especially for parenting or pregnant women.
Using a family-centered and client-sensitive approach, Redwood Community Services Tule House helps clients heal through evidence-based therapies like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing (MI), and Seeking Safety. These methods guide women in building healthier habits, improving parenting skills, and gaining confidence to lead sober, balanced lives.
The center allows children to live with their mothers during treatment, offering real-time parenting support in a cooperative home setting. With a strong focus on experiential learning, mothers practice skills daily. Extra care is given to pregnant women, with priority placement and tailored support throughout their stay.
