Adult & Teen Challenge

A faith-based non-profit, Adult & Teen Challenge (ATC) offers treatment for addiction using a Christ-centered model. David Wilkerson started Teen Challenge after his outreach work with gangs in New York and since then, ATC has grown into a large movement with over 200 locations throughout the U.S. and Canada. They offer residential programs usually lasting 12-18 month and their programs consider all aspects of adult's and youth's lives, caring for individuals' mental, emotional, social, physical, and spiritual wellbeing.Their Bible-based curriculum helps teens and adults learn how to apply God's word to their lives and experience radical life transformation. Their treatment revolves around discipleship, mentoring, and life-skills training, equipping students to learn dependence on God. Treatment includes classes, individual study, personal mentoring, work ethics training, and involvement in the Christian community.
