Wells Medicine
About Wells Medicine
Located south of Spring Valley Village City Park, Wells Medicine treats adults with depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), bipolar depression, and chronic pain. Located along Katy Freeway (Interstate 10) in West Houston, they offer in-person and telehealth appointments without overnight stays. They operate Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Saturday from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Targeted Medical Treatments and Follow-Up
Wells Medicine uses intravenous (IV) ketamine infusions, accelerated transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), stellate ganglion blocks (SGB), and nitrous oxide therapy to address specific symptoms. Accelerated TMS programs last one day or one week, while SGB targets PTSD-related symptoms. Patients receive medical evaluations, monitored procedures, and follow-up appointments based on their needs. They also offer psychiatry, psychotherapy, medication management, and referrals. Ketamine maintenance sessions may occur every 3–5 weeks.
Flexible Scheduling and Payment Options
Patients attend scheduled appointments while maintaining their daily responsibilities, although some procedures require recovery time and transportation home. Wells Medicine accepts private payments rather than insurance and provides superbills for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Patients may also use eligible health savings account (HSA) or flexible spending account (FSA) funds. Through nonprofit partnerships, they offer sponsored treatments to qualifying veterans, special operations personnel, and military families.
