With more than 70 years of experience, Wellmore Behavioral Health serves adults, children, and adolescents in the Greater Waterbury area. The center provides 24/7 Mobile Crisis Intervention for youth and outpatient care for concerns such as anxiety, depression, and trauma. Keeping Families Engaged Through Coordinated Care

The team begins with an evaluation and creates a treatment plan tailored to each client. Services include individual, family, and group therapy, parent support, care coordination, psychiatric evaluation, and medication management when needed. The center offers in-person and telehealth appointments and helps families stay engaged in care while connecting them with ongoing services.

Community Programs For Children And Youth

Wellmore Behavioral Health also provides home-based and community programs. These include Intensive In-Home Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Services for children in crisis, Child First for children from birth to age 6, and Functional Family Therapy for at-risk youth. Through the Victim of Crime Assistance program, the center helps children and families access information, community services, financial compensation in addition to care.

Adult Behavioral Health Services

Wellmore also provides outpatient and residential services for adults experiencing mental health and substance use disorders. Treatment supports individuals facing challenges such as depression, anxiety, trauma, opioid and other substance use disorders, and co-occurring conditions. Services include individual and group therapy, intensive outpatient treatment, medication-assisted treatment for opioid use disorder, psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and case management.
