The Children's Room
About The Children's Room
This center is a non-profit organization in Massachusetts dedicated to providing grief support services for children, teens, and families who have experienced the loss of a parent or sibling. They offer a range of free programs designed to help individuals cope with grief, including peer support groups, parent groups, teen programs, and family night events. The center serves children and teens ages 3½ to 18, along with their parents and caregivers.
The Children’s Room has a specialized focus on childhood grief and is committed to creating supportive communities where no one has to grieve alone. Their approach is based on fundamental beliefs about grief: everyone experiences grief differently and it's a natural, transformative process. The center also provides consultations, referrals, and training for schools and community organizations, extending their impact beyond direct client services.
