The Beachcomber - Boynton Beach

Set near South Florida's coast, The Beachcomber's Boynton Beach location provides outpatient addiction treatment for adults balancing recovery with work, parenting, and other responsibilities. The center offers partial hospitalization (PHP)/ high intensity outpatient program (HIOP), intensive outpatient (IOP), outpatient, and relapse prevention services, with afternoon and evening scheduling for clients living at home or in sober housing. Individual, group, and family therapy are complemented by psychiatric and nursing support available on site.

The intensive outpatient program (IOP) provides 10 or more hours of treatment each week, combining individual, group, and family therapy, trauma therapy, psychiatric and nursing support, and specialized groups that go beyond general substance use. Treatment addresses underlying concerns through Integrated Recovery for behavioral addictions, chemsex, trauma related to domestic violence or sexual abuse, and programs for LGBTQ+ clients, older adults, and adult children of alcoholics. Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing (MI), and 12-Step facilitation are combined with art and music therapy, nutrition groups, and gender- and age-specific groups throughout treatment.

Family sessions, relapse prevention, and an alumni program provide ongoing support after treatment, while coordination across The Beachcomber's programs helps clients move between levels of care when needed.
