About Synapse Behavioral Health - Marlton
Located just across from North Branch Cooper River, Synapse Behavioral Health provides outpatient mental health and addiction treatment. They treat children, teens, and adults with depression, anxiety, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), bipolar disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and opioid addiction. Office hours run Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Tuesday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Eligible patients can also attend telehealth appointments.
Specialized Depression and Addiction Treatment
They combine psychiatric evaluations, medication management, individual counseling, group therapy, and family therapy. Patients with treatment-resistant depression can receive transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) or supervised Spravato treatment. For opioid addiction, clinicians prescribe Suboxone as medication-assisted treatment (MAT) alongside behavioral counseling. ADHD services include diagnostic testing, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), medication management, and coaching. Clinicians also address co-occurring mental health and addiction conditions through coordinated treatment and ongoing medication follow-ups.
Flexible Appointments and Payment Options
Patients attend scheduled appointments without overnight stays, allowing them to maintain work, school, and family responsibilities. They also treat pregnancy and postpartum mental health conditions through psychiatric care and counseling. TMS and Spravato appointments run Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. They accept Aetna, Cigna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Independence Blue Cross, Horizon, and UnitedHealthcare, but not Medicaid. Self-pay rates for listed standard services range from $30 to $250.

Supportive Medication for Recovery
Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) is an evidence-based approach that pairs FDA-approved medications with counseling to treat addiction. The medications are used to reduce cravings, ease withdrawal symptoms, or block the effects of substances. More about MAT
Methadone
Naltrexone
Buprenorphine
Note: Treatment centers offer different forms of MAT—such as oral tablets, dissolvable films, or monthly injections—and their policies can vary based on state regulations, provider preferences, and insurance coverage. Because of these differences, it's best to contact the center directly to learn what options are available and what might be right for your situation.
