About Southeast Child-Family Therapy Center at Silver Avenue
Supporting children, youth, and families in Southeast San Francisco, Southeast Child-Family Therapy Center serves communities including Bayview, Portola, Visitacion Valley, Excelsior, Outer Mission, Bernal Heights, and Sunnydale. The center works with San Franciscans who qualify for Medi-Cal or Healthy Families/Kids, providing behavioral health support focused on children and young people.
Therapy and Behavioral Health Care
Southeast Child-Family Therapy Center provides assessments and evaluations, individual therapy, family therapy, and group therapy to support children and youth’s behavioral health needs. The team also conducts psychiatric evaluations and provides medication support and treatment. Clients can access case management, support groups, school counseling and consultations, and community connections, with telehealth appointments available when appropriate.
Accessible, Community-Based Support
The team also connects with schools and community resources to help clients navigate behavioral health needs beyond the therapy setting. Staff speak English, Spanish, Mandarin, and Cantonese, supporting communication with families from different language backgrounds. Services are available through one of two clinics serving children, youth, and families across Southeast San Francisco.
