About South of Market Mental Health Center
Behavioral health care for adults 18+ combines assessments, individual and group therapy, medication treatment, crisis services, and case management. South of Market Mental Health Center also runs specialty programs for people who need added care coordination. SF FIRST provides intensive case management for psychiatric, medical, substance, and psychosocial difficulties, while Mobile Outreach helps members reconnect with clinic services when scheduled appointments become difficult to attend.
Culturally Focused and Integrated Care
South of Market Mental Health Center also provides culturally focused care through FACT and ONYX. FACT uses a family-centered approach with Filipino-American members, while ONYX provides culturally congruent care for Black and African American members. The Integrated Health Home provides primary care within the behavioral health clinic, and the center also offers wellness activities. Staff speak English, Tagalog, Ilocano, Pangasinense, and limited Spanish, with phone interpretation available for other languages.
