About Renacer Latino Waukegan
Located half a mile from Ray Bradbury Park and Washington Park in Waukegan, this bilingual outpatient center serves children, adolescents, and adults with counseling for mental health concerns, substance-related challenges, anger, and family conflict. Programs also serve justice-involved clients and people affected by domestic violence, with care grounded in the needs of the Latino community.
Building Skills Through Therapy
Care at Renacer Latino begins with structured assessments that guide treatment goals. Clinicians deliver individual, group, and family counseling using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and interpersonal therapy to address depression, anxiety, stress, anger, grief, and substance-related concerns while clients remain engaged in daily responsibilities.
Coordinating Care Across Systems
Services include court-approved anger management, partner abuse intervention, youth prevention programs, LGBTQ+ counseling, relapse prevention, drug screening, and continuing care. By providing services in Spanish and English and coordinating with courts and community agencies, Renacer Latino supports accountability, safety, and stability.
