About Red Cliff Community Health Center
Rooted in care for the Red Cliff Tribal community, Red Cliff Community Health Center in Bayfield also welcomes everyone in the Wisconsin South Shore region for behavioral health counseling alongside medical, dental, and pharmacy services. They provide outpatient care for mental health and substance use disorder (SUD) concerns. Their Aiken Road location offers individual, couples, and family counseling for all ages.
Counseling and Community Coordination
For eligible Red Cliff community members who need psychosocial rehabilitation, their Comprehensive Community Services (CCS) program coordinates tribal and county resources. Participants direct plans around their strengths and goals. Staff identify resources, outline steps toward those goals, and involve family members, school representatives, and other providers as needed. CCS requires medical assistance eligibility, a qualifying diagnosis, a physician’s prescription, and a qualifying functional screen. The program has no fixed duration and determines discharge individually.
Family-Led Teams for Youth
Their Coordinated Service Team (CST) brings families into decisions when children or adolescents have multiple needs involving mental health, substance use, child protection, juvenile justice, or special education. Families choose the team members who will help them develop a care plan and coordinate resources. CST serves enrolled Red Cliff Band of Lake Superior Chippewa members living on the reservation or within the Bayfield County service area who already participate in other programs.
