About SEARHC - Pelican Health Center
One of several SEARHC locations serving Southeast Alaska, SEARHC - Pelican Health Center works with children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples, providing psychiatric assessments, medication management, and therapy in individual, group, and family formats. SEARHC staff deliver services at SEARHC offices, in community spaces such as schools and libraries, and through telehealth by video or phone.
24/7 Helpline in Crisis
They treat conditions including depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, psychosis, and substance use. Their intensive outpatient program (IOP) addresses biological, psychological, and cultural factors, with services grounded in Native community values. Alaska Native people work in partnership with SEARHC to provide care for their communities and operate a 24-hour helpline staffed by master's-level therapists for those in crisis. The clinic is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
