Serving a 10-county region in Kansas, Pawnee Mental Health Services supports children, adolescents, adults, and veterans with mental health and substance use conditions, including depression, anxiety disorders, grief and loss, trauma, family and relationship struggles, and opioid and alcohol addiction. The center offers outpatient and intensive outpatient programs (IOP), with the Prior Service Program providing behavioral health support for veterans and their families.
Care for Mental Health and Substance Use
Pawnee Mental Health provides medication management, medication-assisted treatment (MAT), psychiatric evaluation, non-medical social detox, and telemedicine services. Their IOP is a 4-6-week program with 10+ hours of therapy per week. Clients participate in individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), motivational interviewing (MI), trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), and parent-child interaction therapy (PCIT).
