About Pathways Behavioral Services - Waverly
Bringing mental health and substance use care under one roof, the Waverly location works with adults and adolescents who may need help with one or both. Therapists and substance use counselors offer individual, group, and family counseling, along with EMDR and medication management. Clients can also work with peer specialists and recovery coaches who draw from their own recovery experience. As part of Pathways’ Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic network, the location can connect clients with other behavioral health and community services when needed.
Find the Right Level of Support
Substance use care can change as clients make progress. Those who need more frequent support can attend intensive outpatient treatment with 9 or more hours of counseling each week. Others may move into extended outpatient or continuing care as they become more stable. Throughout treatment, counselors help clients work on recovery skills and relapse prevention, while peer staff offer practical support with challenges that can come up at home, work, school, or in the community.
