About Pathways Behavioral Services - Fredericksburg
Serving children, teens, and adults across Chickasaw County, Pathways Behavioral Services’ Fredericksburg office provides mental health and substance use care in a community-based setting. The center takes a strengths-based approach, considering what clients are experiencing, what is already working, and what they want to change. As part of Pathways’ Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic network, the office connects clients with behavioral health care and additional services, especially when mental health and substance use concerns overlap.
Build Care Around Individual Needs
The team begins care by understanding each client’s concerns and goals, then uses counseling to address how those challenges affect everyday life. Therapists can work with clients individually, or involve families and groups when appropriate. Substance use counseling focuses on recovery skills and relapse prevention, while Pathways’ broader services can add trauma-focused therapy, medication management, and different types of ongoing support based on client needs. Through the wider network, clients can also connect with ongoing recovery support, peer services, and community resources as their needs change.
