Since 1974, New York Psychotherapy and Counseling Center has been helping many children, teens and families in the highly urbanized city of New York and its nearby communities. This center is committed to listen, understand, support and care in every person seeking for a safe, compassionate and caring environment.

Full Range Of Mental Health Care

At this center, care begins with a thorough assessment to better understand every person's needs and challenges, most especially in conditions like, ADHD, anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, substance use and other mental health challenges. Severe mental health issues such as psychosis and schizophrenia are also supported through crisis care, medication management, and evidence-based therapies. Clients attend individual, family, play and creative ares therapy to express their experiences and build healthier ways to cope.

Multicultural Support And Flexible Care Options

The center's highly trained, multicultural and bilingual staff use proven methods such as eye movement therapy (EMDR), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to help clients process painful experiences and strengthen their coping skills. To make care more flexible, sessions made available early in the morning, later in the evening or through telehealth any day of the week.
