About My Hope 2020 at MIH Experience
Supporting adults ages 18 and older on their recovery journey, this medically supervised outpatient program in New York offers alcohol and substance abuse treatment in a calm, nonjudgmental setting. Services are available in English and Spanish, and serves individuals and families in Washington Heights, Inwood, and The Bronx. As an OASAS-Licensed 822 outpatient program, the center is committed to meeting each client with understanding, respect, and personalized care.
Connect With Counselors For Tailored Support
Care begins with a simple phone call and a mandatory pre-admission assessment. Once OASAS confirms admission, the team works closely with each client to determine the level of care, connect them with a counselor, and place them in a therapy group that supports their needs. Clients also complete assessments with a psychiatrist, helping the team gain an understanding of their situation and create a treatment plan with compassion.
Counseling And MAT Options
With a personalized, non-intensive approach, the center recognizes that every recovery journey is different. Treatment plans are tailored to each client’s needs and may include one-on-one counseling, group therapy, and medication-assisted treatment (MAT), including Vivitrol and Buprenorphine. Care typically lasts 3 to 16 months, and DUI and DWI assessments are also available. Additionally, the center focuses on helping clients feel supported, understood, and empowered as they move toward lasting recovery.

Note: Treatment centers offer different forms of MAT—such as oral tablets, dissolvable films, or monthly injections—and their policies can vary based on state regulations, provider preferences, and insurance coverage. Because of these differences, it's best to contact the center directly to learn what options are available and what might be right for your situation.
