About Multicultural Counseling Center - Moab
Rooted in culturally responsive care, Multicultural Counseling Center – Moab supports children, teens, adults, couples, and families through individual, family, and couples counseling, skills counseling, case management, peer support, and telehealth. Their clinicians treat trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety, depression, attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), bipolar disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), grief, stress, and addiction, with multilingual support in Spanish, Somali, Portuguese, and American Sign Language (ASL).
Connect Care Across Needs
All MCC therapists work from a trauma-informed perspective, and this approach shapes how clinicians use trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT) and concepts from child and family traumatic stress intervention (CFTSI). Parents and caregivers play an essential role in child trauma treatment. Skills counseling teaches coping skills, breathing techniques, meditation, mindfulness, yoga, stress management, communication skills, and motivational interviewing, while MCC also conducts substance use disorder (SUD) evaluations, ongoing counseling, family support services, and immigration evaluations.
