About Merakey Adler Place
Helping individuals and families build healthier, more stable lives, Merakey Adler Place is an outpatient behavioral health center for adults, children, adolescents, young adults, caregivers, and families. They address psychiatric conditions, emotional concerns, behavioral difficulties, family conflict, school problems, and challenges affecting daily life through therapy, psychiatry, medication care, and coordinated family services.
Strengthen Care across Ages
Adult services include counseling, psychiatric evaluation, medication management, case coordination, and recovery planning. Their youth services add therapy, psychiatry, family-based treatment, crisis guidance, school collaboration, and community care. Together, these services help people manage symptoms, strengthen coping skills, improve relationships, and build greater stability at home, school, and in everyday life.
Build Stronger Paths Forward
Located along Adler Place, this center is part of Merakey, a nonprofit dedicated to helping people, families, and communities. Merakey began in Philadelphia in 1969 as The Northwest Center, later became NHS Human Services, and has grown into a multi-state provider serving 12 states across behavioral health, autism, addiction recovery, intellectual and developmental disability, education, foster care, aging, and veteran services. At this location, they carry that mission forward through recovery, resilience, family involvement, dignity, and hope.
