About Journies
Backed by decades of care, Journies helps adults and families complete court-aligned substance use disorder (SUD) counseling, education, and recovery services. This provider offers individual counseling, intensive outpatient program (IOP), SUD assessments, recovery coaching, drug and alcohol education, drug screens, breathalyzer testing, and driver’s license reinstatement assessments. Services run in English and Spanish, in person and virtually.
Work Through Focused Counseling
Clients work with staff through one-on-one counseling, group therapy, psychoeducation, relapse prevention counseling, and online therapy. Their clinicians use evidence-based interventions for substance use concerns, recovery support, co-occurring challenges, court-related matters, and personal development goals. Sessions address behavior change, emotional regulation, accountability, and practical skill-building, while peer recovery support adds goal setting, recovery planning, system navigation, and community resource connection.
Join Structured Recovery Groups
Adults attend First Offenders, a 5-hour alcohol and drug education program with day and night groups, and Crossroads, a 12-hour program that meets twice weekly for 4 weeks. Journies also runs relapse prevention, retail fraud, impulse control, life skills, and women’s groups. Families with court or custody-related needs can use supervised parenting time and supervised custody exchanges.
