Community-based mental health care with culturally aware support since 1951, Josselyn Center – Grayslake helps children, teens, and adults start and continue care through outpatient therapy, intensive outpatient therapy (IOP), psychiatric services, medication management, and case management. Conditions treated include anxiety, depression, trauma, post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), grief and loss, and stress.

Hours are Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Strengthen Care Through Coordination

Therapists, psychiatric providers, and case managers coordinate care so clients can keep therapy, medication management, and support services aligned. The intensive outpatient therapy serves youth ages 8 to 17 in a group setting, with psychiatric evaluation, follow-up as needed, family therapy, school coordination, and evidence-based skills groups. Josselyn also offers eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) for trauma-related concerns, including PTSD, anxiety, depression, and OCD. Clients can access virtual EMDR in English, Korean, Polish, and Spanish.

Build Community Between Sessions

Support groups create structured ways to learn skills and connect with others. This provider offers educational and support groups and skills-building groups, including Adolescent Art Therapy, Adult Grief and Loss Support Group, DBT & Beyond: Building Mindfulness, Family Support Group, LGBTQIA+ Adult, Living with Dependency, Open Studio Art Therapy Group, and Teen Social Support Group.
