About Hope Haven Recovery Center
Located in Newnan, Georgia, Hope Haven Recovery Center treats addiction to alcohol, opioids, fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine, benzodiazepines, kratom, MDMA, marijuana and prescription drugs such as Adderall and oxycodone. Care spans a partial hospitalization program (PHP), an intensive outpatient program (IOP), standard outpatient and virtual treatment, along with drug and alcohol assessments.
Therapy Built on Early Recovery Experience
Founder Oliver Turner spent 8 years in recovery residences watching people enter sober living without clinical care, and built Hope Haven to fill that gap in Coweta County. Treatment combines cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), trauma-informed and art therapy with grief and anger management work, addressing co-occurring mental health concerns alongside substance use.
Structure That Fits Daily Life
PHP runs 5 days a week with daily individual and group therapy, life skills, relapse prevention, mindfulness, exercise and nutritional guidance. IOP typically involves 9 to 12 hours across 3 to 5 days a week and lasts about 6 to 8 weeks. Virtual sessions follow the same structure online, and family therapy keeps loved ones involved.
