About Health Haven - West Palm Beach
As part of a psychiatric practice operating across 8 Florida offices, the West Palm Beach location provides outpatient mental health and addiction treatment. Health Haven serves adolescents, adults, older adults, and children ages 8 and older by referral. Clinicians treat depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, OCD, PTSD, and schizophrenia, alongside alcohol, opioid, and stimulant substance use disorders (SUDs). They also address mental health concerns during pregnancy and postpartum.
Psychiatric Care and Addiction Treatment
Psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners begin with evaluations that review symptoms, medical history, and previous treatments before developing medication plans. They monitor prescriptions and may use GeneSight pharmacogenomic testing to guide medication decisions. Therapists provide individual counseling using approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and motivational interviewing, depending on the clinician. For opioid use disorder, providers may prescribe buprenorphine (Suboxone) alongside counseling.
TMS, Spravato, and Office Access
West Palm Beach is one of only 2 Health Haven offices offering both transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) and supervised Spravato (esketamine) treatment. TMS addresses depression and OCD, with an adjunct option for PTSD, while Spravato treats treatment-resistant depression. Both require a consultation, and Spravato sessions include at least 2 hours of observation. The wheelchair-accessible office welcomes walk-ins Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and offers telehealth through participating providers.

Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) is an evidence-based approach that pairs FDA-approved medications with counseling to treat addiction. The medications are used to reduce cravings, ease withdrawal symptoms, or block the effects of substances. More about MAT
Methadone
Naltrexone
Buprenorphine
Note: Treatment centers offer different forms of MAT—such as oral tablets, dissolvable films, or monthly injections—and their policies can vary based on state regulations, provider preferences, and insurance coverage. Because of these differences, it's best to contact the center directly to learn what options are available and what might be right for your situation.
