Supporting additional treatment possibilities for depression after antidepressants and talk therapy, Greenbrook Mental Wellness Center - Southern Maryland is an outpatient center providing NeuroStar® TMS therapy and SPRAVATO® esketamine nasal spray treatment. They start with a no-cost consultation before a Greenbrook-affiliated licensed mental health provider evaluates history and symptoms and creates an individualized treatment plan when appropriate. The center is on Leonardtown Road, past Thomas Stone and before CVS, and is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Structured Paths Forward

Through NeuroStar TMS, they use focused magnetic pulses in a non-invasive, non-drug treatment for depression. Treatment plans typically include 30-36 sessions over 6-9 weeks, with sessions lasting as little as 19 minutes and normal activities possible afterward. They also provide SPRAVATO® for treatment-resistant depression and certain depressive symptoms associated with major depressive disorder. SPRAVATO® requires at least 2 hours of direct supervision and monitoring, with treatment typically progressing from 2 treatments a week to weekly treatment and then every 1-2 weeks.
