About Greenbrook Mental Wellness Center - Anchorage
Providing additional options when depression continues after antidepressants and talk therapy, Greenbrook Mental Wellness Center - Anchorage is an outpatient center offering NeuroStar® TMS therapy and SPRAVATO® esketamine nasal spray treatment. A no-cost consultation introduces the process before a Greenbrook-affiliated licensed mental health provider reviews history and symptoms and develops an individualized treatment plan when appropriate. The center is on the Alaska Regional Hospital campus at DeBarr Road and Airport Heights, in Building C, and is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Support Through Treatment
Their NeuroStar TMS program uses focused magnetic pulses as a non-invasive, non-drug treatment for depression. Greenbrook plans commonly include 30-36 sessions over 6-9 weeks, with treatment scheduled 5 days a week and sessions lasting as little as 19 minutes. Normal activities can resume immediately afterward. They also provide SPRAVATO® for treatment-resistant depression and certain depressive symptoms related to major depressive disorder. SPRAVATO® treatment includes direct supervision and monitoring for at least 2 hours, with frequency moving from 2 times a week to weekly and then every 1-2 weeks.
