About Fresno County Hispanic Commission on Alcohol and Drug Abuse Servs
Conveniently situated on the corner of Broadway and Amador Street in Fresno, California, this outpatient center supports adults ages 18 and older navigating alcohol and drug use challenges. Serving both urban and rural communities throughout the county, this non-profit center provides licensed counseling through its Driving Abuse Treatment and Education (D.A.T.E.) program. The center helps clients recognize the legal and personal implications of driving under the influence.
Change Driving Habits With Comprehensive Care
Treatment plans within the D.A.T.E. programs are customized based on whether a client is facing a first time charge or has multiple offenses. Participants engage in a combination of education classes, group therapy, and individual counseling sessions to discuss the specific habits that led to the charge. These tracks range from a brief 12-hour Wet Reckless course for first offenders to a 18-month program for multiple offenders, aiming to reshape decision making behind the wheel.
