Family Pathways
About Family Pathways
Situated near Route 22 in southwestern Pennsylvania, this center delivers outpatient services for children and youth up to age 21, focusing on trauma, grief, loss, anxiety, depression, and anger. The facility provides both individual and family therapies, including conflict resolution and co-parenting support, alongside psychiatric evaluations and medication management to stabilize mental health and strengthen family relationships.
Healing Through Evidence-Based Therapy
The program uses trauma-informed care with evidence-based approaches like parent-child interaction therapy (PCIT), trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), and trauma narrative therapies. Clinicians provide individual, family, and group sessions, as well as conflict resolution, anger management, and co-parenting support. Psychiatric evaluation and medication management are available, including telepsychiatry with board-certified child and adolescent psychiatrists.
Supportive Programs for Families
Family Pathways offers in-home Family Based Mental Health Services lasting 6-8 months to prevent out-of-home placement or support reunification. Additional programs include foster care and kinship services, supervised visitation, and permanency services through the Statewide Adoption and Permanency Network (SWAN). Montessori early childhood programs provide structured learning for children, while parent empowerment services strengthen family communication and relationships.
