About Egyptian Health Department Recovery Resource Center
This outpatient program supports adults and adolescents affected by alcohol use, drug use, opioid dependence, problem gambling, and substance-related driving concerns. Care begins with a careful assessment that helps the program understand each person’s situation and guide appropriate support. Individual, group, and family counseling help clients address substance use patterns, strengthen coping skills, and improve relationships. Medication-supported counseling for opioid dependence helps reduce cravings while supporting daily stability.
Build Skills Through Prevention and Support
The program places strong emphasis on prevention and early support, especially for youth. School-based education and group programs help students understand substance use risks and build practical decision-making skills before challenges escalate. Sessions take place in a calm, respectful setting that values consistency, accountability, and understanding. Clients receive clear expectations and steady guidance, with a focus on safer choices, stronger communication, and greater balance at home, school, or work.
