About Courage 2 Change Counseling
The center provides day treatment (PHP), intensive outpatient program (IOP), and outpatient services for adults seeking recovery from substance use. The center treats co-occurring conditions such as depression, grief, anxiety, and trauma using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and other evidence-based approaches to address the underlying causes of addiction through assessments and individualized treatment plans.
Strengthen Recovery With Focused Therapy Sessions
Patients participate in individual counseling sessions at least once per week, with frequency adjusted to the treatment plan and presenting needs. Primary process groups meet 2 to 3 times weekly, limited to 12 patients per clinician, while psycho-educational workshops cover addiction, relapse prevention, anger management, and life skills. Family therapy is offered based on individual treatment goals, supporting relational healing and recovery.
Connect With Community Resources and Medical Providers
Case management coordinates care across medical providers, community resources, and external agencies, including courts or educational institutions when relevant. The clinical team monitors patient progress, adjusts services, and provides referrals for additional support. Through this structured, evidence-based approach, the center emphasizes recovery, functional improvement, and rebuilding healthy social and family connections.
