About Community Counseling Mediation - ASAP Clinic
Since 1982, Community Counseling and Mediation has supported individuals and families across Brooklyn and Manhattan. The Elm Place Addiction and Substance Abuse Program (ASAP) Clinic continues this work by helping people manage substance use with respect and understanding. Services are designed to ease emotional strain, build resilience, and guide recovery in ways that feel human and supportive.
Build Strength and Stability
The clinic provides counseling, group sessions, and connections to medication-assisted Treatment (MAT). Programs help clients recognize triggers, practice healthier coping skills, and create anger management plans that fit their lives. With one-on-one therapy and peer groups, people learn strategies to manage cravings, reduce conflict, and strengthen emotional balance.
Embrace Long-Term Wellness
Care is centered on each person’s needs, making treatment accessible and meaningful. By linking evidence-based practices with supportive housing, the clinic helps clients build stability and maintain progress. Recovery and relapse prevention services reflect the mission to support lasting wellness and meaningful change.
