A proud partner of United Way, Cayuga Counseling Services provides outpatient behavioral health and community support for children, adolescents, adults, and families. Care includes psychiatric evaluations, crisis intervention, medication management, and individual, family, couples, group, and play therapy. Evidence-based approaches such as dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), and parent-child interaction therapy (PCIT) guide treatment. Clients also benefit from care coordination, health monitoring, and discharge planning.

Helping Families Heal and Grow

Specialized programs address trauma, abuse, violence, and victimization. The HAVEN Program offers trauma-focused services for children ages 3–18 and their families, while Children’s Health Home services integrate medical, behavioral, and community care. Victims of crime receive advocacy, court and law enforcement accompaniment, trauma-informed therapy, legal support, safety planning, weekly groups, and access to a 24-hour hotline.

Building Stronger Communities Together

Beyond treatment, Cayuga Counseling Services connects clients with essential resources for stability, including housing, food, and financial assistance. Justice-involved services provide pretrial release, community service, reentry support, anger management, and a 26-week domestic violence intervention program. Families can also access doula care, breastfeeding guidance, and safe sleep resources for pregnant individuals and infants.
