About CAN Behavioral Health
CAN Behavioral Health is a nonprofit outpatient center in Baytown, Texas, serving adolescents and adults across East Harris County. The center provides care for mental health and substance use challenges, offering a partial hospitalization program (PHP), intensive outpatient program (IOP), aftercare, screenings, and evaluations. CAN’s mission is to help individuals find stability, healing, and healthier lives through compassionate, community-based support.
Intensive Support Without Overnight Stay Needed
Their PHP provides about 20 hours a week of group therapy plus individual sessions and family involvement, while IOP offers 10 hours of weekly counseling. Both programs balance structure with flexibility, helping individuals bridge outpatient and residential care. Their licensed clinicians and medical staff create personalized treatment plans, using group, individual, and family sessions to provide steady, supportive care.
Helping Individuals Heal, Grow, and Belong
CAN’s therapies include crisis intervention, psychoeducation, solution-focused methods, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). Specialized services include substance abuse therapy and a certified Battering Intervention and Prevention Program (BIPP) for men. For teens, a Positive Psychology and Universal Ethics curriculum builds life skills and emotional strength. With respect and inclusion, CAN helps individuals heal, grow, and reach their potential.
